About CBFF
Your New Creative Best Friend Forever 🙂
My mission is to empower writers to unlock the full potential of their stories by providing personalized coaching that fosters creativity, clarity, and confidence.
Through our collaborative sessions, I help unravel narrative challenges and refine ideas while ensuring that every story remains true to the writer’s vision. My goal is for each client to leave feeling energized, supported, and equipped with the tools and confidence to continue their creative journey, stress-free and excited for what’s next.
Whether you want to self-publish or enter traditional industry structures, I champion collaboration, curiosity, and creativity in an environment that feels like a chat with a trusted friend—one full of fantastic ideas.
I am committed to bringing your vision to its fullest expression, and have a soft spot for those determined creators navigating the self-publishing path across various industries, from novels to comics, film to music, to game design and everything in between.
The CBFF pillars—Solid Story Structure, Living Characters, Richly Imagined Worlds, “Goldilocks” Plotting, and Seamless Idea Integration—aim to craft narratives that captivate and resonate.
Meet Your Creative BFF : Ashley Guyot
A voracious reader (Ashley is known for sneaking in pages during LA traffic jams or even quick trips to the bathroom) and a passionate lover of stories in all forms, Ashley has spent over 15 years serving as a “Creative BFF” for friends, family, associates, and a diverse range of creatives. Her experience spans across industries and demographics, including working with content creators, an Animation Production Executive at Netflix, actors, award-winning independent directors, novelists, musicians, hobbyist writers, and a producer for a Grammy-nominated song. She’s also collaborated with teams pitching network animation stories, clothing brands, and supported young creatives, including teens and children, in developing their unique voices. With a BA in Animation (which combines both her passions—storytelling and art), Ashley has published a story-based coloring book and is actively producing a variety of personal and joint independent projects.
